Multris vs. Arena

So i remember this site a friend showed me a few years back, www.spogg.com. its a game site with Yacht, Sketchorama (like pictionary), Scrambler (like Text Twist) and other games, but the game i mostly used to play was Multris (multi + Tetris, i presume). its pretty much like Arena but there are a few differences.

Here's what it looks like.



What Multris is like

• when playing there is no need to press 'enter' when you want to chat
• after clearing lines, a little "spoggling" as i like to call them appears on the right of your screen, you have until it falls to the bottom of the screen to press F1, F2 etc to send the spoggling to another player. When you send a player a spoggling, you are sending them your cleared lines. So essentially you are choosing who gets your garbage.
• you only need your arrow keys to play, except the down is harddrop
• there is no softdrop
• you cant hold a piece for later, so your suck with the piece you have
• when you top out, your board is cleared, your score gets deducted a bit and you start over 
• you're really racing against the clock to see who gets the higher score

Personally i think i like Arena better, there's no fuss about who you want to send your lines to and i don't like not being able to softdrop or hold piece. I used to be good at multris but then i switched to Arena and I'm used to playing the arena way which messed up my Multris skill. But that's just me. Go check it out if you want.
